No matter how many times I've been around the block in this business, it always takes me aback when I see my images out in the world. I think because, even when it's a job, creating an image can be very personal. From the time I hit the shutter, to the editing process, to seeing it pass to the client, I end up spending quite a bit of time with each image. It kind of becomes a part of me. So, even though I know I'll ultimately see it out in the world, when I do it's always kind of surreal. I almost say when seeing one of my photos in the wild, "hey, what are you doing here?"
