The Dog Photo Booth

A little personal project I've been working on for a while, check it out here if you'd like: dogphotobooth.com.

Sweet Baby Coco

Meet Coco. Coco is extra special to me because she is kind of like my dog niece (is there such a thing?). She belongs to my bestest friend Elizabeth (we've been like sisters since age 11). Elizabeth and her husband kept telling me over and over for the past few months that when they completed their kitchen remodel, they were going to get a dog. Well, the kitchen is done!

Squeak at Home

So here I go again about how cool Squeak is. As soon as we made him part of the family we gave him full access to the house (except for bedtime, he sleeps in his crate which he loves). Throughout the day our other two dogs tend to occupy their regular spots -- Simon mainly hangs in the living room and Avery can generally be found sunning on the deck or dozing in the office -- But Squeak, he utilizes the whole house. It is pretty amusing. Inspired by my favorite design blogs like Decor8, Beach Bungalow 8, and sfgirlybybay, I decided it would be a fun project to do a little editorial of him around the house.

I have a busy week shooting and I hate neglecting my blog, so I'm kicking off the week with the first of five Golden Retriever puppy pics.

TEETH

Lenny

This is Lenny. She was rescued from a Bakersfield shelter by my friend Yvonne and her husband. This was Lenny's first time in front of the camera. She was a champ!

Visitors from Planet Snuggles

A friend of mine recently joked that our dog Squeak is from Planet Snuggles. If that's the case, then we were fortunate to meet another visitor from Planet Snuggles. His name is Nugget, and, well, he's basically a shaggy Squeak doppelganger. Nugget was on set for the job I shot last week, and I was astonished at his similarities to what I'd thought was a one-of-a-kind dog. I mean, don't get me wrong, Squeak is amazing, but his fraternal outer-space brother Nugget is a close, close second.

I took one look at Nugget and knew it was my earth-bound responsibility to bring these two visitors together. Let's just say they spoke the same language.

More Screen Shots

Today we had two adorable border collie puppies getting a wash and a pocket beagle named Calvin. Henry had suds for his shot too!
