The Bachelor

Okay, okay! I've already gotten a handful of emails awaiting my take on last night.....

In a word I thought it was WEIRD.

I know everyone is out there ripping on Jason, but I can't help thinking that after Brad Womack's season, these Bachelors must be required to sign a contract forcing them to pick one woman at the end. I'm thinking Jason wanted more time - As my co-watcher James muses on the ridiculousness of the concept: "dating two women, at the same time, while they know about each other, because....'one of them is your future wife'." What happened to the good ol' days with Bachelors like Matt and the Wine guy, where the girls get drunk competeing for some guy who may or may not be looking for a wife, get engaged on a whirlwind trip to an exotic place, and then People magazine breaks the story of the break-up? The show is just getting weird. Even Chris Harrison knows it.

I'm reserving final jusdgement until tonight's second ATRC, where I am sure it will get even weirder. I'm guessing a Molly proposal. I mean, it's been six months already, which is like six bachelor years.

Oh and p.s.  I think the Deanna footage was shot after the show wrapped to suggest it was her fault for giving him advice on picking the "wild card." I mean, it was the least she could do for Jason after letting him get down on one knee. She asked for him back like she was calling to check the balance on her Banana Republic card. Again, wierd.

The Bachelor

It just irriates me to no end they keep calling the epsiode before the finale The Women Tell All, because they DO NOT TELL ALL. Eighty percent of them don't even speak! And the twenty percent that do speak, don't say anything "telling." The only part that made last night's episode worth watching was the recap of Natalie's "I love bears" moment – that will never get old for me.

Now, I may be admitting more than I should here – but since I don't apologize for being a Bachelor junkie I might as well spill it: I've been reading the rumors about how this season ends. If it is true, then I have no words – other than maybe Jason Mesnick will replace Brad Womack as the most villainous bachelor....in Bachelor History.

Finn

I love when our friends get puppies, and I love even more when they rescue one! Kristin and Christophe (our buddies) got Finn from the Riverside Animal Shelter – or the animal shelter on Riverside, I can't remember which. He is one of seven puppies that were left behind at the shelter (it's okay, all of them got good homes!). Finn has a great little personality and he is SO crazy cute, I almost couldn't take it. It started to rain soon after I busted out the camera, so I'll be visiting Finn again soon for a more complete shoot. And even more after that!

Dear Kristin and Christophe,

Please don't be annoyed with me for showing up at your house with my camera every chance I get.

xo,

The Bachelor

Still no Deanna in what I am calling The most boring Bachelor season in Bachelor history. It's very clear why we must wait so long for her appearance.... To keep us watching. I do however have to give it up to The Temple Priestess and her mother The Adult Indigo for making this episode more tolerable. Thank you!

The highlight for me was when my co-watcher James (who is a Bachelor newbie) turned to me and asked in all seriousness; " In all the Bachelor seasons, do people just sit around and talk about nothing even though they are under the impression there are talking about something?" I replied by explaining this is how all girls get to know their "potential future husbands".

I know Jason kept Kappa Kappa Molly, but I do believe Melissa has this in the bag. Nitty, you wanna bet a burger on it?

Me and My Crew

Sometimes I drive them to drink, but I love my crew. Even though I'm the one taking the pictures, I'm really just part of a team - A team of incredibly hard working, kind, patient, genuine, loyal, and fun people.

From upper left: Sharon (photographer), Spencer (photo assistant), Susan (lead animal trainer), Charles (lighting tech), Erik (digital tech), Emilie (producer), Dara (photo rep), Patrick (production assistant)

The Bachelor

I don't care about Deanna's appearance anymore. It's taking way too long.

Nitty, please comment with your always hilarious recap  - I'm shooting today : )

On The Chalkboard

I came home from the gym and saw this. What can I say? It's my husband's chalkboard too! He loves bikes. I think it's amazing:
