I've been sick with a wicked flu for the last few days and needed a reason to drag myself out of bed–posting my favorite shot of Hank is the perfect reason.

Love Fest

The amazingly talented and generous Marisa wrote about our lunch today on her blog. And, I love her too! We've crossed paths a few times over the last several years and have grown to be big fans of each others' work. I know both of us will continue to make time to meet regularly as it was incredibly comforting to learn we share so many similarities in each of our respective creative processes.

I am still organizing my film closet and came across these shots from the days when I used to put film in a camera and develop everything in the darkroom. I actually kinda miss the smell of fixer! The first shot is of Avery on the day I met her at the dog recuse where I adopted her -- She was five months old and the cutest dog I had ever seen!
